Topography:
Flat, Route A1A runs along the Atlantic Coast throughout Florida.
Weather:
Nothing but rain. Apparently Hurricane Ivan decided to turn around and
head south. As if Florida hasnıt had enough. It eventually stopped raining
but near the end of the day.
Landmarks:From
the Bal Harbour shops to the trendy Hotels of South Beach. The Marchers
tried to step in between the raindrops as they slid through the canyons
of the Art Deco towns of Miami Beach. Coming to a conclusion on Ocean
Drive at 9th street The Marchers relaxed their beaten feet and bodies
in front of the famous sand castle, which much like a Buddhist Mandala
is destroyed each evening after its daily creation.

Casualties:
Tenzin Namgyal (Tenam) Marched the entire day plagued by the blisters
but made good time.
Yeshi
Gyaltsen was in pain the entire day and at times limped from the pressure
each step applied to his severe blisters.
