May 26 Presentation Day
Friday, May 26, presented us with a day off from walking, but a day full of activities.
From noon to 2 we gave another presentation at California Polytechnic, this time it was a cultural presentation. It was attended by some 15-20 people and proved to be rather well recieved. Questions that followed were quite interesting and a bit different than what we usually get.
San Luis Obispo was an excellent place for media coverage, too. We ended up in three or four local papers, including the university press.
In the evening the members of the Unitarian Church hosted a potluck dinner in our honor (thank you so much). We are always so happy to have food prepared for us, first because we donıt have to cook on top of all of the rest of the days activities and second because it is a wonderful financial donation of sorts.
After dinner we showed "Tibetıs Stolen Child" to an auidence of about 30-40. It was a big success as usual. |
