Total Distance: 29 miles

Topography: 11 low lying yet challenging hills with long steep uphill grades as well as curvy downgrades through construction zones.

Weather: Take all the rain that has fallen on days 2 and 3 and multiply by 30. Just a nasty day!

Major Landmarks: Sideling Hill Summit (elev 2195) of Blue Ridge Mountains

The Ride:
Start: 11am

Casualties:
Tenzin Norbu: still plagues by injury from fall on day 2
Status: Indefinite new to the DL

Sonam Wangdu: Potential ligament damage in knee. Inflammation made it impossible to continue ride. Status: Indefinite maintains position on the DL

Khedup Ritzekura: Pulled leg muscle. Sat out second stage of ride.
Status: Probable

Standouts: Rinpo and Gendin continue to amaze with consistent ability to climb mountains as if they are straightaways. Tomorrow will be the biggest test yet though with 13 miles of uphill climb

Rating: Lightning Quick!!! Initial itinerary called for a lunch break at 1pm but they all finished the entire days journey in time for Pizza on the side of Rt30W.
