Experience Tibetan Monks Tibetan Monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery in South India will be visiting Indianapolis from April 25th through May 3rd. They will be creating the Sacred Sand Medicine Mandala, representing the healing aspect of the Buddha. They will also perform two Cultural Pageant Programs, which provide a sampling of Sacred Music and Dance, a slide show, and a debate demonstration. The Mandala will be constructed at St. Lukes Methodist Church (100 W. 86th St., Indianapolis) beginning after the 11 am. service on Sunday April 26th until 4:30 pm. They will continue building the Mandala on Monday from 9 am to 4:30 pm; Tuesday 9 am to 7:30 pm; Wednesday 9 am to 4:30 pm; and Thursday 9 am to 3 pm at which time a closing ceremony will be performed.
